Live Text : Tuesday's Football - Second Half Action

20-42 : So that's the end of tonight's action, barring the Crystal Palace vs Portsmouth game which started at 8. Check back to the site for the round-up, and tomorrow night for the next installment of action! Thanks for all your contributions, you've been great.

20-39 : Paul Gallagher notes on Twitter that he's lost a £50 bet that there would be over 2.5 goals in the Chelsea-Genk clash! I can safely say a fair few punters have lost money there, a shock result in a draw there.

20-37 : Barcelona hit a fourth goal, a romp for them over Pizen. Messi has a hat-rick, now isn't that a familiar sentence. Full times all over the place, no more goals that haven't been reported yet.

20-36 : Luiz fires wide, and that will be that. 1-1, Chelsea again un-inspiring and labour to a point. Arsenal do the same, 0-0 their result.

20-35 : Apoel concede, Hulk getting Porto level. Clearly not happy, the Cyrus side charge upfield and earn another goal, they now lead 2-1. Great stuff.

20-34 : Close! Malouda's shot cleared off the line in Belgium, Chelsea go so near to a late winner. Back come Genk now, neither side seems to want a draw, and fair play to them for it.

20-33 : Straight into the wall, but it's not cleared and Van Persie drills in a dangerous ball which is well dealt with.

20-33 : 35 yards out, 92nd minute, and Arsenal have a free-kick within range...

20-31 : Heading into injury time. Arsenal look set to draw, and perhaps more surprisingly so do Chelsea. Lampard flashes over. Peterborough have pulled one back, they trail 2-1 at St Mary's.

20-30 : ANOTHER dreadful cross and it's ANOTHER waste! Too many corners and free kicks have been woeful tonight, I suggest some extra practice.

20-29 : Genk surging forward with a refreshing determination to get a win here. Free kick out wide, great opportunity to whip a ball across and see what happens. Vossen, the goalscorer, is withdrawn. Can they make something of this? Millwall have a third.

20-27 : Van Persie wins a corner... dangerous but punched clear.

20-26 : Torres has been very average, giving the ball away numerous times. That said, he's not had a great deal of service. Hull have pulled one back, and Watford now lead Brighton.

20-24 : Marseille's corners have been shocking, and that really is a bad one from Gonzalez. Sturridge forces a save in Belgium, but then disaster almost strikes as Cech has to sprint out his goal and block a goalbound shot from Limbonde.

20-23 : Forest are ahead again Reading, a slender 1-0 lead into the last moments. Genk call on one of their subs, and I must say they've done well tonight. Underdogs, and behind, but they've battled and look on their way to a big point.

20-22 : Huge shifts in tempo in both games, we're in for a barnstorming last ten minutes. Marseille still 9/1, can they nick it?

20-21 : Franco Annondale claims Chelsea have put in a 'shocking performance', and he's not all wrong. Chance! Ayew heads wide at the Emirates, that would've been a shock to Arsenal's system.

20-20 : Henderson's at it again, Millwall 2-0 up now. No quality in either Champions League games at the moment, but all four sides cranking up the pressure in attempts to garner a winner out of these last ten minutes.

20-18 : Genk 9.6 to win it?! At one stage, they were up and over 35. Romeu is off for Mata, interesting choice...

20-17 : Jack Finnamore has roundly turned on Torres on Twitter, stating his 'frustration' about Chelsea's 'obsession' with him. Sub o'clock now, Arsharvin on for Gervinho and Mata preparing. Valencia 3-1 up, Barcelona 3-0, it's a better night for the Spanish sides, that's for sure.

20-15 : Looks like Mata is the final Chelsea player to be called forward from the bench. Torres to go off? He's had another one of his statuesque performances so far, which sadly are becoming all too often for Chelsea fans.

20-14 : Chelsea up to 56% possession now, but not creating anything of note. The draw the favoured results there now, but I feel something might change in at least one of the game.

20-13 : A corner is about as exciting as things get in the Arsenal - Marseille game, where still nothing is happening. Draw at 1.83, going down all the time...

20-11 : 20 minutes to go, and things are starting to hot up nicely. Valencia are ahead, meaning Chelsea are in trouble if they fail to win. Leicester have extended their lead, 3-1 over Burnley now, and so do Barnsley and M'Boro, all three Championship sides now having 2 goal leads.

20-10 : Vikram Maan makes a interesting point on Twitter, who notes that West Brom reserves have just beaten Chelsea's, 4-0.

20-08 : Sadly, still nothing is happening there, and the draw is now the favourite at 2.1. Chelsea looking to regain their lead, pushing forward more. Lampard and Sturridge preparing to come on for them, on for Anelka and Ramires, who was Chelsea's best player tonight, without doubt.

20-07 : Van Persie's on for the Gunners, greeted by rapturous cheers from the home faithful.

20-06 : Barnsley have double their own lead now, and Leicester are back ahead with Nugent the man in the goals, netting in the 54th minute.

20-05 : Now there's a shock. Draw rockets down to under 3, and Genk are now only 9.2 to go on and win the game!

20-03 : And Genk are level! Luiz will be as sick as a parrot now, and a nice move results in their first goal in the Champions League. Vossen, his 11th of the season, puts away a neat cut-back, left unmarked 6 yards out.

20-02 : Genk pushing, and the draw is down to almost 8 now, a sign of the threat they pose. Marseille go close, Cheyrou just failing to connect when well placed.

21-01 : Millwall are leading Coventry now, Henderson striking. More goals coming in that league, but overall there aren't many to speak of tonight.

20-58 : Remy would score at the Emirates, but doesn't get the chance as the flag rules him offside. Both games becoming a little nervy, Torres heads over. Well over.

20-56 : Massive chance in Belgium... For Genk! Nwanganga is suddenly clean through, but Cech sprawls to the rescue. The home side really pressing now, with two more corners coming in.

20-54 : Barnsley lead Hull, who had earlier missed a penalty. With Chelsea only 1-0 up, the draw at 9.2 isn't completely gone yet. Ayew fires wide at the Emirates, Marseille yet to really threaten.

20-53 : It is Luiz, but it goes high over the crossbar. It's just not his night, will somebody please let the poor man know he's a centre back.

20-51 : Gervinho burst into the box but it denied by a last ditch tackle. More urgency by the hosts, which is well received by the crowd. Free kick to Chelsea in a dangerous area, will Luiz fancy this one too?

20-50 : Paul Kelly notes on Twitter that Marseille do appear now defensive, will they settle for a point?

20-48 : Genk up to 50/1 to win, as that game in Belgium starts. Comments being thrown around that Malouda should've taken the penalty, he's taken numerous ones for France. Chelsea need to move on and secure the result though, the past is history.

20-45 : Back under-way now, and this is slowly becoming the case everywhere, except that one game that kicked off at 8. Pantelis on Twitter notes for Cypriot side Apoel could be 'writing history' if they can hold on and defeat Porto.

20-44 : Arsenal have been on top I'd say, but in a tight game it could be decided by a single goal. Both back fours will need to be in control if their respective teams are going to produce results.

20-42 : Emnes puts M'Boro 2-1 up, they've completed a first half turnaround at the Keepmoat. Still very few goals in that league, here's to hoping for more!

20-42 : That really was far too casual from Luiz, and I still don't know what he was doing taking it. Centre forwards are paid to score, and I can't help but feel one of them should've taken the responsibility.

20-40 : Just watching a few replays, and Ramires' goal really was a nice move. Fernando Torres played a huge part, a lovely assist. Not much highlights to talk of with Arsenal, but Gervinho and Walcott have gone close.
