England vs India - 2nd Test Match - Day 1

England: 221 (68.4 overs) - Broad 64, Strauss 32, Kumar 3-45, Sharma 3-66.
India: 24-1 (15.0 overs) - Laxman 13*, Dravid 7*, Anderson 1-10.

India took control of the 1st day at Trent Bridge, having put England into bat in overcast bowler-friendly conditions. Kumar, Sharma and Sreesanth all took 3 wickets as a mixture of good swing-bowling and erratic shots reduced England to 221 all out just after tea with only Broad making a real contribution, a swashbuckling 64 off 66 balls. With the ball still swinging Anderson removed Indian opener Mukund first ball, before Dravid and Laxman saw India to the close of play on 24-1. England will hope the conditions stay similar to today's to give them the best chance of rattling through the Indian line-up tomorrow. With the game moving on quickly, how about a bet on the test match to finish on the 4th day morning at 6, or maybe you fancy backing Tendulker to top-score for India tomorrow at 4.2?

Check back tomorrow morning for a look at this weekends SPL fixtures, as well as a look at the Hungarian GP. And remember to check the twitter and facebook pages for updates and handy tips throughout tomorrows cricket. Links to the sites are on the right-hand side. Cheers!
