The Premiership - Week 2

It's time for our second week of Premiership predictions, following on from last weekend's opening day. Last week we managed to get 5 out of 9 correct, with one exact score - Manchester United's 2-1 victory at West Brom. So onto this weeks games...

Again a reminder that all odds given are for the result, not the correct score. For example, Sunderland to win the game is 2.2, no score needed - just to win.

Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool, @ 3.35

Both sides have undergone some reconstruction this summer, and while Liverpool may now look stronger, Arsenal's home form is always good.

Sunderland 2-1 Newcastle, @ 2.2

Newcastle's season has begun under a very dark cloud indeed, and Sunderland have brought in almost a whole new team, so we're backing them in a tight encounter.

Aston Villa 1-0 Blackburn, @ 1.77

The Villans are heavy favourites, and justifiably so. Expect them to win this against a Blackburn side in need of new recruits.

Everton 2-0 QPR, @ 1.54

Could this be the season Everton finally start well? TB cannot see QPR putting up a fight with their current defence.

Swansea 1-1 Wigan, @ 3.4

Two similar sides, and Roberto Martinez making his return to Swansea, expect a stalemate. The Swans will, however, need to improve at the back from Monday night's 4-0 reverse.

Chelsea 3-1 West Brom, @ 1.32

We foresee no issues for AVB's side, with the main talking point who will start up-front for the blues. West Brom will stay up, but no points here.

Norwich 1-2 Stoke, @ 3

Stoke are solid these days all over the pitch, with real quality in their ranks. Norwich looks alright last weekend, but this is a tough test.

Wolves 1-1 Fulham, @ 3.4

Expect a tight game at Molineux, with both sides hard to break down. Can't see either team dominating in midfield either, so a draw the safest bet. A hard one to call.

Manchester United 2-0 Tottenham, @ 1.69

United looked like they started to click later into their opening day game, and Spurs didn't play at all. Expect the champions to continue well.

After last week's solid start hopefully these predictions will continue to do well! Either way, best of luck to anybody betting, and thanks for reading.
