The Premiership - Week 3

And so on to the third week of TacticalBet's Premiership Predictions. Last time out we predicted 3 out of 9 games with no correct scores.

Again a reminder that all odds given are for the result, not the correct score.

Aston Villa 1-1 Wolves, @ 3.5

Another early season derby, between good sides that have started well. Wolves have won both there games so far and Villa have gained 4 points from there opening 2 fixtures. A score-draw looks most likely.

Wigan 3-2 QPR, @ 2.26

A relegation 6-pointer this early in the season. Wigan showed in patches against Swansea that they can be very dangerous going forwards, but QPR will be up for making it 2 wins in 2. A close, exciting game with Wigans extra quality snatching them a win.

Blackburn 0-2 Everton, @ 2.36

Blackburn have started the season very poorly with 2 defeats, and Steve Kean will need to find a way to rally his team against a strong Everton side looking to make amends for last weekends loss to QPR.

Chelsea 4-1 Norwich, @ 1.19

The arrival of Jaun Mata to Chelsea has only strengthened Chelsea's hand, and they still have gears to find after a hard-fought draw at Stoke and a 2-1 win over West Brom. Norwich grabbed a well earned point against stoke last time out to make it 4 points from 2 games, but the late Stoke equaliser has left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Swansea 1-2 Sunderland, @ 3.1

Good odds on a Sunderland win here, although they will find it tough against a Swansea side who picked up there first point of the season against Wigan last-time out, thanks partly to luck, as Wigan missed a penalty and struck the woodwork twice. They will need to improve alot if they are to be competitive.

Liverpool 1-1 Bolton, @ 5

Liverpool will be on cloud nine after the start they've made and last weekends 2-0 win over Arsenal, however they will have to be focused against a Bolton side who are scoring goals for fun. 6 in there last 2 games, 2 of which came in a loss against Man City, shows they are a force this season. Liverpool may be favourites, but I can see Bolton getting a point.

Newcastle 1-0 Fulham, @ 2.26

Newcastle seem to be settling down after a horrendous pre-season, and there derby win over Sunderland last weekend proves that point. Fulham our decent at home, but poor away. Couple that with the fact they are travelling back from Ukraine and this game should be Newcastle's for the taking.

Tottenham 1-2 Man City, @ 2.5

Tottenham suffered a morale-crushing defeat to Man Utd on Monday and will be tired after there Europa league excursions on Thursday. Man City are in the mood to knock teams over at the moment, and they have so much fire-power upfront, that i cant see this going any other way. City to win.

West Brom 2-1 Stoke, @ 2.2

A very tough game to call, one that has draw written all over it, excpet for the fact that Stoke played on Thursday in the Europa League. That might just be the deciding factor in this closely fought game.

Man Utd 2-1 Arsenal, @ 1.52

United have started the season in imperious championship-winning form, brushing aside teams with ease. They will find it tougher against an Arsenal team on the rebound from a bad few weeks, after there good win against Udinese. Close, but United will win by a goal or two, partly due to Arsenal's depleted squad.
